Tasks

The Sales Manager Thailand will be responsible for the sale of solar photovoltaic systems and the successful closure of EPC, land lease and project development contracts for free field, and rooftop systems. For this purpose he/she will lead juwi?s sales activities in Thailand and report to the regional HQ in Singapore.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Development and execution of the sales strategy for Thailand based on the existing business plan
  • Networking, client identification and client management
  • Offer preparation, RFP, RFQ, TOR evaluation and bid preparation with support of expert departments
  • Development of sales kits and standards for EPC projects or own developments
  • Negotiation and closing of EPC, project development and land lease contracts in line with corporate legal requirements
  • Building a solid pipeline of profitable rooftop and free field projects
  • Adaptation of existing contract models to Thai requirements
  • Close interaction with specialized departments and the Group?s HQ in Germany
  • Creation and regular update of project pipelines
  • Monitoring and management of sales targets
  • Managing the approved budget for the Thai sales channel
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process of the juwi Group

Position requirements

  • A least 5 years of successful track record in a leading sales role with key accounting experience for technically and legally complex products and agreements
  • Deep insight and strong network into the Asian power or property market with focus on commercial buildings and multi property ownerships
  • A graduate with a Technical, Commercial or Real Estate Degree, Master in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lead a small and geographically dispersed sales force or agents as well as to operate and navigate within an international company
  • Competency to build successful relationships across a broad range of levels from utilities to investors land or building owners to political stakeholders and senior executives
  • A team player with exceptional communication skills, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for supporting renewable energies
  • Willingness to travel within Thailand and East Asia and occasionally to Germany
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Thai
